I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Blancs-Coteaux called L'Escapade. My family and I were warmly greeted by Madame R, who was a delightful host. The accommodation was immaculate, and we had a spacious terrace overlooking the beautiful pool. The breakfast was a true highlight, with homemade jams and fresh strawberries from the owner's garden. Madame R went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even providing pool toys for the children. We would happily return to L'Escapade in the future.

The hostess was unbelievably friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were mind-blowingly delicious. The clean pool was a lifesaver in the scorching hot weather. The private bathroom was luxuriously awesome. The bedroom with the terrace overlooking the pool was superb. Highly recommended!

The bed was quite low.

Having an electric kettle in the room was a game-changer. Enjoyed sipping on hot beverages anytime. Bathrooms with bathtubs or showers were a treat. Pampered myself with relaxing baths after a long day. Every room had a flat-screen TV, perfect for catching up on my favorite shows. Binge-watching heaven!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the view from the room. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right?

The walk back to the hotel in the dark could be a bit challenging due to the lack of well-lit roads. However, it is easily overcome by going by car.
